Dr. Robin Kibuka
Robin graduated with a BA (Economics) from Yale University and a PhD (Economics) from Harvard University.
He is a senior economist with 20+ years of experience at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and extensive international experience with macroeconomic policy and has provided technical assistance to several countries around the world.
He worked at the Executive Board of the IMF and in several departments of the institution. He served as the IMF Resident Representative in Ghana and retired in 2009 as Advisor in the Statistics Department.
He taught at Harvard and Makerere Universities and worked as a Research Assistant at the Yale University Economic Growth Centre. He has several publications to his name in areas such as Statistics, Macro management and Governance.
He has also consulted in the areas of Macroeconomics, Development Policy, and Statistics, most recently with the African Development Bank and the UNDP in designing and updating a Fiscal Adjustment Roadmap for Swaziland.
